It is always fun to try new things. This year I am in a new classroom, although I have to say it was my old classroom some 18 years ago, and I am teaching a course I have never taught before, Current Events. I have been experimenting with a new timeline website for use in my new Current Events class. Dipity.com allows one to create a timeline of events that incorporates text, graphics, and video. I created an example for students so I could learn how it worked and so they would have something to follow. It has been a lot of fun posting daily updates about my (old) American History class in a fresh, new way.
